VIBHA LIFESAVERS was established as a comprehensive medical transport system by Dr Nitin Yende in 1996 when he realized that patient transportation needs was not adequately met by the existing ambulance service.
Dr Nitin Yende had a vision of a 'complete medical transport system'- a service of very high quality - a service of compassionate patient care- a service that would transport 'any patient', 'any time', 'any where' in India and abroad and he strived hard to establish, develop and motivate others to give.
VIBHA LIFE SAVERS, today offers a full range of medical transportation services which include Road and Air Transportation services for the most advanced high risk critical care emergency transports such as neonatal and ventilator patients as well as patients requiring cardiac surgical intervention to emergency and non-emergency services, including pre-scheduled admissions and discharges, emergency scene response, transportation to and from doctors' offices and nursing homes as well as other treatment centers such as dialysis, radiation and physical therapy.
Specialized services include medical escorts, commercial flight stretcher services, transportation of critical patients in chartered flights, VIP medical escorts, Event medical cover as well routine domestic and international transport.
Doctors and nurses who accompany the patient are qualified and trained to handle all emergency medical and surgical emergencies including monitoring and interpretation of electrocardiogram, placing intravenous and central venous lines, administration of oxygen and medications, use of all lifesaving equipments like pacemakers and ventilators, intubation of neonates, pediatric and adult patients. Moreover their skills and knowledge is regularly updated by short courses held at regular intervals at the center.
The director and intensivists on call have also received specialized training abroad in their respective field for better patient care. No wonder all the doctors and paramedics have a confident and caring attitude towards the patient.
